Kate Upton: Is Being A Bond Girl In ’24’ Her Next Step as An Actress?

Could Kate Upton be the Bond Girl in the upcoming JamesBond 24 movie?

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Upton’s armpit photo gaffe has many critics pointing out that you really do not need much to be a super model other than a good Photoshop editor.

Kate’s acting career has spawned a lot of speculation lately. She first appeared as a nun in The Three Stooges, and then played a minor role in Tower Heist alongside Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. Her most recent role was in The Other Woman, which opened higher than Captain America 2 and pulled in over $165 million worldwide. So with that success behind her, you would think that becoming a James Bond girl may be the logical next step.

After all, Upton once claimedher favorite James Bond girl was Halley Berry, who coincidentally started her career as a beauty queen, and she also said she’d love to have the role:

“It’s a very prestigious title, and it would be a very cool role. I would need to go through some intense training to learn all the Bond Girl moves.”

We also found out that if Kate Upton’s James Bond role does not materialize, then it may be the fault of her agents, who thought her body type was not good for the big screen:

“It’s weird that in the press they’ll be like, ‘Your biggest fight was with the industry and the designers,’ and I’m like, no, my biggest fight was with my agents, trying to get them to sign me into the castings. I thought, how I’m going to come out of this will be an example for girls.”

But then a a leaked paper from Sony suggested that the studio was considering Penelope Cruz to become the next Bond Girl:

“Bond bosses have been chasing her [Penelope Cruz] since Daniel became 007 in 2006. But schedules and her pregnancies meant it never materialised. At this stage no one at Sony will confirm it.”

The latest rumors about the Bond Girl also do not mention Kate Upton at all. Instead, it’s said that there will be at least two women, one British and one Scandinavian. MI6 claims Norwegian actress Ingrid Bolso Berdal, who was in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, was screen tested for the role. But she’s not the only one:

“A total of eight actresses are understood to have tested for the Scandinavian character ‘with a troubled past who will serve as a brief love interest for Bond. The lead Bond Girl role is understood to be a British character.”

So… Kate Upton with a British accent? Probably not. Still, even if rumors about Kate Upton’s James Bond role are wrong, it seems she might be joining the cast of Entourage, according to Fandemonium Network:

“Now multiple sources on the Entourage movie have told The Wrap that while Kate has not been formally offered the role, she is in early discussions to join the cast. It is thought Kate could be playing the love interest of movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), who always had a thing for curvy blondes.”
