‘The Wonder Years’ Cast Has Epic Reunion [Photos]

Since The Wonder Years said goodbye in 1993 after its sixth and final season, we weren’t sure if we would ever see Kevin Arnold or Winnie Cooper together again. Thankfully, fans’ wishes were answered when the cast had a mini reunion yesterday.

Following in the steps of other cast reunions, such as Full House or Matilda, the familiar faces took to social media to post photos that may make your inner 80s and 90s child jump up and down.

Although Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) and Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar) are all grown up, the stars look like they’ve been together forever.

The whole Wonder Years cast — including Fred Savage, Dan Lauria, Alley Mills, Olivia d’Abo, Jason Hervey, Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano — got together to indulge in a trip down memory lane to film DVD extras for their hit ABC series. Their excitement of being all together again under the same roof was captured in a few adorable photos that were later tweeted out to the glee of many fans.

The photos of the surprise Wonder Years reunion were shared by the show’s lead Kevin Arnold, played by actor turned television director Fred Savage, and was retweeted by Danica McKeller. Jason Hervey, who in his words, played Kevin’s “brother from hell” on the Emmy-winning series, also shared a photo from the reunion as well.

The best photo to come out of the reunion is the whole cast posing in the Arnold family kitchen, a location where many important moments took place between Kevin, his father Jack, mother Norma and his annoying older brother Wayne.

The news that The Wonder Years is finally coming to DVD is something for which all fans of the show have waited. The series was stuck in DVD limbo, as all of its original music had to be paid for and legally cleared before production could go forward with the DVDs. Back when the show aired, music licensing for television didn’t exist, and now that it does, some of the seminal musical moments made on the show were threatened to be erased from the show’s history.

Fortunately, the powers that be at ABC were able to clear all of the original music for The Wonder Years DVDs. The cast reuniting is just an extra added bonus.
