Amanda Seyfried And Channing Tatum Kissed In ‘Dear John,’ She Doesn’t Remember
Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum made millions of women (and some men) swoon with their heartbreaking story in the 2010 romantic drama Dear John, but she doesn’t remember kissing one of the most sought after leading men in movies. Say what?
Yes, you read that right, the 28-year-old big eyed beauty does not remember smooching with hunky Channing, who has legions of fans following his ever move.
It is strange that Amanda doesn’t remember kissing Tatum, since in the movie, they play lovers embroiled in a dramatic romance, which follows the story of a soldier who falls in love with a wealthy college student while on home leave.
Amanda Seyfried laughed off the shocking fact during an appearance on Nick Grimshaw’s breakfast show on BBC Radio 1 Tuesday morning alongside Seth McFarlane:
“I don’t remember… I’m pretty sure it was great. It was easy! He’s a funny guy. I felt like a million bucks afterwards. You want to talk about confidence? That guy gives you confidence. So generous.”

So apparently for Amanda, the love scenes with Channing are all a blur, even though at the time Tatum said they hit it off right from the start, when they met prior to filming Dear John.
In recent years, Amanda Seyfried has been a busy woman, filming several movies back to back. Following her flick with Tatum, Amanda starred in another romantic drama, Letters To Juliet, alongside Vanessa Redgrave and was also part of the outstanding ensemble cast for the 2012 musical Les Misérables, which received several Academy Awards nominations, including Best Picture.
Currently, Amanda and Seth are promoting their new comedy, A Million Ways To Die In The West, which opens in US theaters on May 30.
The pair spoke to Grimshaw about their new film, which is written and directed by MacFarlane, also starring Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, and Neil Patrick Harris. MacFarlane said:
“The only part that was new, was the acting. But again I had Amanda, I had Charlize, I had Neil. I have this great cast of people. Every time you’re playing opposite somebody it’s one of these people who is so good and so experienced there just throwing stimulus at you and it just makes it easier.”
Amanda, who confessed to being jet lagged, was seen braving the cold London morning as she came to the BBC Radio 1 studio for the interview.
