Lil Wayne Blasts Justin Bieber’s Manager Scooter Braun In Defense Of Lil Twist
Video of Justin Bieber and Lil Twist recently hanging out in Cannes, France, is online. It suggests the pair remain pals under the radar. Lil Wayne does mention in the video that he and Twist hung out with Bieber before the clip was filmed.
Justin Bieber and Lil Twist’s relationship is under focus as YMCMB boss/rapper Lil Wayne fires off an incendiary video attack on Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, in defense of his artist Lil Twist – real name Christopher Lynne Moore.
MTV News reports Lil Wayne’s missive was shot in Cannes, France, on May 25 but posted by Young Money director / DJ Scoob Doo to his website Bread Over Bed on May 26.
Lil Wayne performed at the Gotha Club Cannes May 22. Video of Bieber and Twist hanging out in Cannes from that period then surfaced online.
Lil Wayne and Lil Twist allege that Braun – under pressure to control fall out from Bieber’s behavior last year – planted stories in the media painting Twist as a “bad influence” who led the singer astray.
Here’s the context:
Following accusations last year from Bieber’s former neighbors in Calabasas, California of loud parties held by Lil Twist and Xavier “Lil Za Smith” at Justin’s former pad while he toured, and claims of speeding and disputes between the rappers and neighbors, reports of Braun’s concern over Lil Twist and Lil Za in Justin’s life began appearing in the press.
Last September, Radar claimed Braun wanted Lil Twist and Lil Za out of Bieber’s Calabasas home after a long house sitting period. The website added that Braun thought the pair were a “bad influence” on Justin and had arranged alternative accommodation for them.
Shortly after Radar’s report, TMZ reported Bieber had finally evicted Lil Za and Lil Twist after jewelry allegedly went missing on the duo’s “watch.”

The website added it was unknown exactly what was taken, or by whom, and Justin “didn’t necessarily” think his pals had taken the goods.
Two hours after TMZ went to press (Sept. 24, 2013), Bieber posted an Instagram of a black screen with a caption that read: “Don’t listen to em I still got all my jewelry.”
However, TMZ insisted the theft happened and stated on their website that Bieber was “lying to cover for his ‘friends.'”
Twist was previously accused of introducing Justin to drugs and has been involved in traffic violations or accidents while driving Bieber’s cars.
In August, Lil Twist was accused of battery by a woman during a party being held at Justin’s house while the singer was away on tour. The Young Money star denied the claims through his rep. He was later cleared of the claim.
It’s said Braun demanded that Bieber end his friendship with Lil Twist after the battery claim arose. Justin and Twist were no longer seen in public together from that point.
In November, an enraged Twist launched a Twitter attack on Braun accusing him of trying to keep Bieber “squeaky clean” while letting him take the media blame for Justin’s missteps.
Twist tweeted, in part: “Side stay squeaky clean… And I took that… But with that being said.. F**k u Scooter and everything u stand for.. And all yo fake stories (sic).”
Fast forward to Lil Wayne’s full-on attack on Braun:
“I heard this bitchass n—a Scooter talkin’ sh– about my little brother,” Lil Wayne says to the camera, while keeping his arm around Twist.
“N—a this my motherf—in’ brother, anything you got to say, when you see me say it to my motherf—in’ face,” Lil Wayne continues.
“And if you do happen to say it to my motherf—in’ face,” he adds, “I ain’t gonna make you eat them words n—a, I’ma put them bitches on your tombstone.”
At the end of the 56-second clip Lil Wayne starkly snarls: “F— you Scooter!”
Lil Wayne repeatedly referred to Bieber as his “lil brother” in the video.

Aftermath:
Recalling media reporting just before and since Lil Twist and Bieber were no longer seen together publicly, some reports did draw attention to the color of the Canadian’s friends.
The Inquisitr notes that after TMZ’s jewelry theft claim last September, Bieber defended his pals and has done so in the past.
Since Lil Wayne’s nuclear video went viral, emotive “then” and “now” photos of Justin and Scooter have been posted to Bieber’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The caption reads: “All love.”
