Sofia Vergara Announces Split From Fiance: ‘It’s Been Getting Worse And Worse’

These days it is less and less shocking to read headlines about Hollywood actors and celebrity singers and performers breaking up or divorcing; in fact, it seems to be all-too-commonplace. Something always seems to go wrong, either before the wedding, or usually a few months after.

Vergara announced the split, which many celebrity commentators expected after the first break up, via her WhoSay page.

The announcement was to the point, revealing just a few of the circumstances which led to the split:

Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have [decided] to be apart. We have [been] having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together because of my work and now his, it’s been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore. We are still very close but we believe [this] is the best thing for us right now

Now 41, Sofia Vergara announced her engagement to Loeb back in April 2012. Even though she already has a son named Manolo, she revealed last year that she was hoping to have more kids with her fiance:

“Hormone pills, and then after that is hormone injections. They want to get as many eggs as they can because usually you produce them but they’re not good. They have to be perfect, perfect, perfect ones,” she said.

In any event, those plans obviously never came to fruition, as Sofia Vergara’s relationship with Loeb was rocky and not without its problems; among them, an engagement break up and reconciliation. In Hollywood that usually means another split is just around the corner.
