Game Of Stoned: Watch Seth Rogen And Snoop Blaze Up And Recap Game Of Thrones
Now that we think about it, there really doesn’t seem to be any analog to weed in Game of Thrones‘ Westeros. That didn’t stop Seth Rogen from pairing with Snoop (Lion/Dogg/Broadus) and giving the best high recap of the hit HBO show since, well, maybe ever.
Rogen popped into Snoop’s GGN YouTube channel for a puff and a parle, and the topic evidently turned to Game of Thrones. Snoop revealed that he is an immense fan of the show, and proceeded to give a weed- and profanity-laced recap of the most recent episodes.
“The little midget,” Snoop said of Game of Thrones‘ Tyrion Lannister, who until now held the title for best Game of Thrones recap, “he was in love with a whore… His father was going to hook him up, but he couldn’t shut his a** up, so now he’s going to have to fight this big-a** gigantic [guy].”
Seth Rogen is obviously tripping off Snoop’s retelling, but he’s not too stoned to miss the Best Idea of the Week: Snoop should do a weekly Game of Thrones recap to be aired before every episode.
“That’s my s***,” Snoop says, professing his love for Thrones through a haze of smoke.
“I’d watch the s*** out of that,” Rogen agrees. We’re inclined to agree with Rogen here, watching Snoop break down the past two or three weeks’ of Game of Thrones action is a thing that HBO should make happen. Who knows, it would probably be better at drawing in… ahem… “urban” audiences than was HBO’s previous attempt, a mixtape filled with rappers referencing Game of Thrones characters and lore.
The height of the video, though, has to be at about the 1:15 mark, which has one of the most perfect uses of… well… well, we won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t watched yet. But it’s just perfect, and Rogen can barely hold it together.
There’s also Snoop opining at length on why the Good Masters of Astapor saw fit to castrate the Unsullied, the army of former slaves now at the command of Daenerys Targaryen. It’s… well… there’s no way we can print Snoop’s take on Game of Thrones‘ army of eunuchs here. You’ll just have to watch and see.
“The Queen would have to violate,” is about all we can reproduce here. The full GGN segment with Snoop and Seth Rogen is set for release sometime in the near future, maybe the next few days. Snoop and other Game of Thrones addicts, though, will have to wait a bit longer to get their fix. The next Thrones episode won’t air until June 1.
