Justin Bieber Bonds With Barbara Palvin, Swags ‘For A Great Cause’ In Cannes
Justin Bieber has packed a lot of living into his week in Cannes, France.
And like Leonardo DiCaprio and other big stars in Cannes who aren’t promoting films at the city’s annual Film Festival, the Biebs is there to party.
During his South of France adventure, the 20-year-old mixed it up with the great and good at A-list parties, yacht events, hit the stage with rappers Busta Rhymes and Rick Ross, rapped with Wesley Snipes and stormed the Croisette – shirtless.
On Thursday, Justin turned heads in a diamond-sharp, Dolce and Gabbana suit at amfAR’s 21st Annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc attended by a galaxy of super-wattage stars.
When asked by one group of reporters lining the red carpet what made him come out for the Gala, Bieber replied:
“‘I’m just here to here to have some fun.”
He added, “And be around some amazing people and conversate and be here for a great cause.”

To another scrum of reporters, the Canadian replied, “I’m just here to swag.”

Seemingly doing his bit to improve superstar-international supermodel relations after posing with Brazilian model Adriana Lima this past week, Bieber and rumoured ex-flame Barbara Palvin also set tongues wagging.
The Hungarian model was captured on video and in photos affectionately stroking Justin’s face Wednesday night, when both attended Roberto Cavalli’s yacht party with a host of stars including Sharon Stone, John Travolta and Kelly Preston.
Citing a source, E! News reports Bieber “went straight over” to Palvin and “started chatting and flirting” with her.
“They were clearly really happy to see each other and were smiling, laughing and touching each other’s’ hair and face,” the eyewitness added.
The source continued: “She said, ‘It’s so great to see you!’ and had her hand on his back long after they’d hugged each other hello and he was beaming.”
Apparently not long after Justin left the party for the Carlton Hotel, Palvin arrived soon after.
The next day, both Palvin and Bieber attended the amfAR event.
It’s speculated, mainly by gossip sites, that Victoria’s Secret model Palvin may be a rebound that Bieber is supposedly “using” to make ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez jealous.
After Justin and Selena rekindled their relationship in March, by April it had all crashed and burned amid talk of Bieber flirting with Kylie Jenner at the Coachella Festival — which were never confirmed or denied.
Gomez has since proclaimed she is “taking my power back” and is rumored to have blocked Bieber from her phone as well as social media accounts.
As for Palvin, her brief dalliance with One Direction’s Niall Horan fizzled out by February this year.
Meanwhile, fans and media alike are speculating whether the pair’s connection — first seen back in November 2012 at a Victoria’s Secret show Bieber performed at — will blossom into something official or whether it was just a Cannes fling?
