Think times are tough for you, average Americans?
Poor Candy Spelling, wife of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling and estranged mom to daughter Tori (who got her big break on dad’s Beverly Hills 90210 ) had to deal with the family’s famed mansion being on the market for a few years before dropping the price from $150 million to a paltry $85 million!
Spelling finally found an eligible buyer for the 14 bedroom, 123-room bungalow, which features a bowling alley, parking for 100 vehicles, a hair salon and “several” rooms devoted to gift-wrapping. The home was purchased by a British heiress:
The owner is now Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of Formula One president and CEO Bernie Ecclestone. She is a fashion designer who launched the now defunct menswear label FORM in 2008. Petra and her sister Tamara were born to Ecclestone and Croatian model Slavica Radic, who is 28-years younger and 11.5 inches taller than the Formula One billionaire. The couple divorced in 2009.
Back when the house went on the market, Candy Spelling disclosed that she was moving out of the massive pad in favor of a modest, $35 million condo in Century City.
