Justin Bieber Rocks Full On, Fierce Suit At Cannes Gala And It Was all That
Justin Bieber in a suit? You heard that right. Bieber rocked a full-on, fierce Dolce And Gabbana suit to the 2014 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala, otherwise known as the hottest ticket in Cannes, France.
“Wear a suit in Cannes please Justin Bieber!” We said.
He heard us.
Currently hitting the party circuit during this year’s Cannes film festival, the 20-year-old has been inching towards the formal dress code for days. He donned a tuxedo jacket – just the jacket mind – to a yacht party last weekend.
In hindsight, that was just a teaser. On Thursday, Bieber walked the red carpet in diamond-sharp, full-on, fierce, black Dolce and Gabbana at the 2014 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes.

Justin tweeted a clear clue to his next social date earlier today, writing, “Amfar #giveback.”
The “Confident” singer joined other huge names at the prestigious, annual Cinema Against AIDS event, which is raising funds for research to find a broadly applicable cure by 2020.

The starry guest list included:
Leonardo DiCaprio, Sharon Stone, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Chris Tucker, Lana Del Rey, Heidi Klum, Harvey Weinstein, Adrian Brody and famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli – who performed an impromptu rendition of “My Way.”
Also present were Carla Bruni and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Milla Jovovich, Jane Fonda, Gael Garcia Bernal, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain and many more, for the fashion show and the traditional, spirited auction.
But back to Bieber’s double-breasted, super-wattage suit.
The singer has been criticized over recent days for occasionally walking around Cannes shirtless.
Well, now he’s pulled off Dolce and Gabbana.
The usual carping can be heard in some quarters. It’s too shiny. What’s with the scrunched pants? Visible tattoos?

It’s all nonsense. Rest assured, the Canadian’s suit was the business.
Fashion is, and has always been, about putting an individual own spin on the look of clothes, even haute couture – maybe especially haute couture.

Bieber’s tattoos aren’t to the taste of many, but clearly they are to him. More importantly, the worthy aim of amfAR should be bigger than petty mutterings about skin ink.
As for organization themselves, they couldn’t be more pleased Bieber suited up and stepped out.
A new generation is ready to stand up and support. Thank you for joining us tonight, @justinbieber. #amfARCannes pic.twitter.com/mAFROV55NH
