‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Title Finally Revealed
After months of calling the Man Of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, we now know what the actual title will be.
In an official statement, Warner Bros. has confirmed that the Zack Snyder superhero film is titled…ready? Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice:
“Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as BruceWayne/Batman.”
“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.”
Last week, Snyder revealed what Affleck’s Batsuit will look like in his version of the Cape Crusader. The last interpretation of Batman came in the person of Christian Bale in the massively successful Dark Knight trilogy.

With a confirmed title, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice can now move forward and end some of the speculation. Well, actually, there are still plenty of rumors about exactly what the relationship between the two superheroes — who will meet on the big screen for the first time — will be, but the studio is remaining as tight-lipped as ever.
Warner Bros. adds:
“Principal photography will take place on location at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and on location in and around Detroit, Michigan; Illinois; Africa; and the South Pacific.”
We also got a first glimpse of Gal Gadot in her Diana Prince persona, when some alert fans following Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice spotted her filming a sequence in Michigan.

We have not had a glimpse at Henry Cavill in his role of Superman yet, even though there was a sighting of him in Chicago during the Easter weekend. It is not clear if Zack Snyder will make any changes to his suit for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but for now, we are excited to have another official statement from WB, which you can read in its entirety here.
