Fans can watch The Bachelorette live online and see the premiere of Andi Dorfman as the show’s leading star.
Dorfman was last seen telling off the now-hated Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis on the latest season of the ABC reality show. The incident earned her some major points with fans, and was likely a major reason she was picked as the center of attention for this season’s show.
Fans who watch Monday’s premiere of The Bachelorette will see a different, softer side of Dorfman .
“Coming off Juan Pablo’s season I think we saw her as this really tough, no-nonsense attorney and we were all proud of the way she handled him,” Harrison said before The Bachelorette ‘s season 10 premiere. “But the softer, more vulnerable side is what I’ve gotten to know and the self-deprecating sense of humor that I see as she’s gone through ‘The Bachelorette’ has been really refreshing.”
The episode airs Monday at 9:30 pm EST on ABC. Fans will also be able to watch The Bachelorette premiere live online thanks to a new feature from ABC offering live streaming video (more details below).
Andi Dorfman certainly seems a safer bet than Juan Pablo, who was seen as a player who didn’t have true intentions of finding a wife. Dorfman has a much more wholesome vibe, as ABC describes in the show’s official preview :
Those who do watch are likely to see an unprecedented issue facing the show. After filming concluded, contestant Eric Hill died in a paragliding accident. Producers did not say how far Hill advanced on the show, but did admit that viewers would get to know him in the fist episode.
“We’re going to try to be as sensitive as possible,” Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss said . “It’s a bizarre predicament that we never expected to be in, but our problems aren’t important. It’s about his family now. My heart goes out to them. I pray for them and my staff, they’re just wrecked.”
