Being the President of the United States may be the most coveted office in the world but it’s not the best paying, however once a President leaves office that quickly changes and Bill Clinton is the perfect example of the post-President earning effect.
President Clinton is said to have made $75.6 million over the last 10 years by speaking at various events for his current rate of $181,000.
A recent report shows that Clinton earned $10.7 million in 2010 while speaking at 52 different venues, his best year to date and a large increase over 2009 in which he spoke at just 36 events. That same report shows that two events in 2010 alone paid the president $1 million for speaking in Moscow for Renaissance Capital and in the United Arab Emirates for Novo Nordisk.
Clinton has also made $30 million from book sales.
