Justin Bieber is being investigated after being accused of an alleged attempted robbery, Los Angeles Police confirmed Tuesday night.
ABC 7 reports the alleged incident was reported to police at around 10.30 pm [West Coast] Monday, after an alleged incident earlier in the day at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, which provides miniature golf and batting cages facilities to visitors.
USA TODAY adds Los Angeles police officer Rosario Herrera said Bieber is accused, but had not been questioned by police or arrested by late Tuesday. Herrara added she did not believe the alleged victim had been hurt in the incident.
Los Angeles Police Department officers interviewed the woman who made the complaint on Monday night [Tuesday in East Coast, European timezones], and took a report.
KTLA TV reports a woman has accused Bieber of an alleged attempted robbery and claims he tried to take her phone.
Early Wednesday , ABC7 stated Bieber posted an Insta video of himself playing miniature golf at around the same time the alleged incident was reported to police.
Meanwhile, TMZ spoke to the female complainant who is accusing the singer of attempted robbery .
The woman told the gossip site the alleged incident happened when she and her 13-year-old daughter spotted Justin and his crew playing miniature golf and using a batting cage while at Sherman Oaks Castle Park.
The woman alleges Bieber and his crew got into an altercation with guys at the batting cage, when she says Bieber spotted her reaching for her cellphone.
The complainant alleges Justin demanded to see her phone to check for and delete photos. The woman claims she refused and that Bieber then went into her purse and grabbed her phone.
The woman claims she wrestled with Justin in an attempt to get her phone back, adding that he eventually gave it back to her because her phone was locked.
She alleges Bieber then demanded that she unlock her phone. The woman claims she did so and showed the Canadian no photos had been taken.
The complainant also alleges Bieber addressed her harshly and that her daughter cried as a result. It’s claimed Bieber then turned around and began screaming at someone else.

At this stage, this entire incident is an allegation.
However, TMZ did obtain a photo of Bieber standing next to a Castle Park security guard who, at the time, was allegedly trying to calm a situation down.
For his part, Bieber spent Tuesday night watching the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of their NBA playoff in the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
At press time, the singer has not commented publicly on the attempted robbery accusation.
