Aaron Carter Adores Hilary Duff, But She Still Has Eyes For Her Estranged Husband

Aaron Carter wants an opportunity sweep ex-girlfriend Hilary Duff off her feet. Unfortunately for the “I Want Candy” singer, he’s currently got some stiff competition from the former Lizzie Maguire star’s estranged husband.

Although Duff and Mike Comrie decided to part ways earlier this year, the couple is still devoted to one another. In addition to raising their two-year-old son Luca, the singer revealed that she and Comrie are spending more time together these days. Unfortunately for Aaron Carter, his dreams of winning Hilary’s heart are a little out of reach.

According to Us Weekly, Carter’s former flame discussed the state of her marriage during an appearance at the ASPCA Cocktail Party in Beverly Hills, California.

“I don’t think Mike would ever go anywhere. I mean, we are really dedicated to taking care of Luca, and we’re really good friends who spend a lot of time together… So we’re just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it’s working for us,” Duff explained.

She added, “We have Luca as our main priority, but we do care a lot about each other. We’re adults and we’re making our way through life. Sometimes you do that together and apart and we’re gonna be and we’re going to do it in the most peaceful way possible.”

This probably isn’t the sort of thing Aaron Carter wants to hear at the moment. The Inquisitr previously reported that Nick Carter’s younger brother seems weirdly obsessed with winning back his ex-girlfriend. Aaron seems to believe that all he needs is one shot to prove that he’s a completely different man.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Aaron Carter was famously caught in a love triangle between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan back in the day. Since the situation ultimately resulted in a break up, Carter has apparently lived with a large wad of regret in his back pocket. He hopes one day that Hilary will let him make things right.

“I’m going to do everything in my power to fix those relationships in my life just like I want to fix the relationship I had with the love of my life. I’m not gonna give up on Hilary… ever,” Aaron Carter told the outlet.
