OOPS! Pussy Riot Show Their Claws with Feral Behavior
Pussy Riot, the Russian female punk rock band, after getting arrested and stirring things up in their own homeland, have decided to get the US involved in their catastrophic hooliganism. Members of Pussy Riot were actually arrested in March 2012 for exactly that: “Hooliganism.” They were sentenced to prison for two years according to Reflector.com.
Pussy Riot said they were “protesting” against Russian President Vladimir Putin for Human Rights. The felines even went so far to say their protest was aimed at the Orthodox Church leader’s support toward Putin. When in actuality, they staged a performance of having lesbian sex on the altar of Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. That takes hooliganism to a whole new level.
The members of Pussy Riot are known for their strong stance on feminism and LGBT rights. They believe Putin to be a dictator and want him stopped. The Sun News reports that Russia does not recognize “same sex partner benefits. Unlike the U.S. military, homosexual marriage is illegal. Nor is homosexuality promoted among children and teenagers as a viable lifestyle.” That has enraged the likes of Pussy Riot, and causing them to show their claws.
Arriving in the US at Capital Hill are these riotous females pleading to our political leaders to add “16 Russian officials to a sanctions list for human rights violators,” according to ABC News. Note: They only met with Democratic lawmakers. Yes, five of them to be exact. Let’s name them: Sens. Ben Cardin, D-Md., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., and Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn.
These senators praised Pussy Riot for their quest and ABC News even reported Senator Cardin as saying, “It is my pleasure to welcome to the United States Capitol members of the Pussy Riot,” Cardin said. “We had a chance to talk with them about the conditions today in Russia, the experiences that they had, including the fact that they were arrested and sent to prison, how they had tried to help the citizens of Russia deal with the current deterioration of human rights in Russia.”
“The only way we’re going to get advancements on human rights is to put a spotlight on those who are violating human rights to stand up and make it clear that we will not accept these behaviors,” Cardin added.
Before you smile and want to shake the hands of Senator Cardin and the other politicians who met privately with Pussy Riot, let’s be enlightened on one last tidbit of information that the US media didn’t want to report to the public. The Sun News reveals “Pussy Riot made its debut at Russia’s National Museum of Biology, or the Russian equivalent of our Smithsonian, in Moscow by having group sex in front of school children.”
Do you think Senator Cardin, Senator Blumenthal, Senator Murphy, Senator Flake and Representative Cohen knew this nugget of information before they sang the praises of Pussy Riot? Let’s hope not.
