Kaley Cuoco Cleans Out The Bad Energy From Khloe Kardashian’s House
Kaley Cuoco is taking no chances when it comes to marital bliss with new husband Ryan Sweeting. Cuoco made news in January when she and Sweeting bought Khloe Kardashian’s old house, which went on the market after Kardashian split from NBA player Lamar Odom.
Now it seems Cuoco gave the house a spiritual cleaning before getting too comfortable. In Touch reports that the couple hired a Feng Shui practitioner to restore the home’s positive energy. The Hollywood Gossip went even further, stating that Cuoco hired, not just one, but “various spiritualists and feng shui experts” to do the job.
If the house was to blame, Cuoco has reason to be concerned. Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December of last year after more than four years of marriage, amid reports of Odom’s substance abuse and infidelity. The couple’s difficulties eventually formed part of the plot of her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Cuoco and Sweeting posted gushing Instagram pics of their new home in March, with the caption from Sweeting that the 8,400-square-foot home felt like “a resort.” The negative energy may have already had an effect, it seems, since the home was burgled on March 3 before the couple moved in. The Kardashian clan discovered the theft while cleaning out Khloe’s belongings in preparation for Sweeting and Cuoco’s possession.
Sweeting and Cuoco have no public signs of trouble as of yet. They even posed for a provocative Instagram pic this week, with Ryan’s arm strategically placed over Kaley’s chest. The couple married New Year’s Eve after dating less than a year. Cuoco is a sometime-competitive equestrian and Sweeting is a professional tennis player. The two became engaged in September of last year.
Kardashian, for her part, has also moved on to new digs. In a kind of celebrity musical chairs, Khloe purchased the former home of Justin Bieber in Calabasas, California. Bieber had notoriously caused a bit of trouble among his neighbors in the gated community and placed the house on the market.
The former Kardashian home is a big step up for Cuoco. Kaley’s former home went on the market in March for $2.795 million, which is about half the $5.49 million she and Sweeting paid for the new house. The shortfall might come from Ryan’s tennis earnings or, more likely, his wife’s salary: Kaley Cuoco is currently paid $300,000 per episode for The Big Bang Theory.
