Midnight Memories Forever! One Direction Have No Plans To Split Anytime Soon

Midnight Memories probably isn’t the final album from One Direction. According to the singers, they have no plans to go their separate ways anytime soon.

Fans of the group who hoped the fellas would record another album following the success of Midnight Memories were understandably worried about all the breakup rumors circulating this year. Every time Harry Styles headed to Los Angeles or collaborated with another artist, people worried that the group was heading to that big boy band ranch in the sky.

Considering Midnight Memories was the top-selling album of 2013, it’s obvious that the singers are more popular than ever. Since it’s never wise to abandon ship when the sailing is smooth, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for the guys to call it quits at the height of their fame.

According to the folks at Contactmusic, Niall Horan recently declared that One Direction will hang around for as long as they’re wanted. In other words, fans will have plenty of chances to make even more midnight memories with the boys in the near future.

“We always hear rumors about us splitting, but we’re not! We’ve already started recording our fourth album,” Harry Styles told The Sun.

Horan added, “The fact we have an album coming should put these rumours to bed. We’re here for as long as the fans want us.”

Since Midnight Memories just arrived last year, it’s surprising that the guys are churning out a new record so quickly. Mstarz reports that Liam Payne promises the group will drop a new album every year until people simply spot buying their music. This means fans should get another batch of songs before the end of 2014.

Although One Direction has no plans to break up anytime soon, this doesn’t mean the guys can’t pursue endeavors on their own. The Inquisitr previously reported that Styles is working on a secret project with producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. However, it’s still a little unclear what the guys are working on.

“Oh my God, I have no idea. I have never had any conversations with him or any of them regarding that. But we did do something together. I can’t say what it is for, though,” Tedder said about the project and One Direction break up rumors.

Unfortunately, no one seems to know when One Direction will drop the follow-up to Midnight Memories on the masses. However, the record should arrive on retail shelves before the year is officially done.
