Is Khloe Kardashian Getting Her Very Own Talk Show?
Khloe Kardashian must have impressed a few people during her guest hosting gig on Chelsea Lately. Word on the street suggests that reality TV veteran could end up with her very own talk show at some point in the near future.
While Chelsea Handler took the evening off, Khloe stepped in to steer the proverbial ship. In addition to cracking some jokes about Justin Bieber and her brother, Kardashian also interviewed Full House alum Bob Saget. In this writer’s opinion, she did a pretty good job holding down the fort while Handler was away.
According to the folks over at Hollywood Life, Khloe Kardashian reportedly impressed enough people during her guest spot on Chelsea Lately that someone is seriously thinking about hooking her up with a talk show.
“Now that Chelsea Handler has announced she’s leaving, it opens a lot of doors at the network. Khloe is a top contender to host a late night show similar to Chelsea’s. She’s not afraid to ruffle some feathers and execs like that,” an anonymous source explained.
The insider added, “She wouldn’t take over [Chelsea Lately] because once Chelsea is gone, the show will be too. It would be a brand new show created for her.”
Reality TV Magazine points out that Khloe Kardashian already has her hands busy with a pair of shows for the cable network. However, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t find time in her busy schedule for a talk show if producers threw enough money towards her bank account. After all, even the busiest people on the planet can find time for another project if the price is right.
If nothing else, Khloe Kardashian proved that she isn’t above poking a little fun at herself. Before diving into her interview with Bob Saget, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum decided to joke about a supposed sexual relationship with her brother Rob. Insert overblown gagging sound effect here.
“Hello, I’m Khloe Kardashian, and you may know me as the only Kardashian sister that Chelsea actually likes. However, most people know me as the sister of fashion icon and sock tycoon Rob Kardashian,” she explained.
The guest host continued, “Rob’s been on my mind a lot lately because we’re currently living together. No, we’re not sexually involved. My brother’s not nearly black enough for me!”
