Leslie Mann: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Made Me Break Out In Hives

Leslie Mann wasn’t physically prepared to make out with Game of Thrones hunk Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for her latest movie The Other Woman.

The actress, who co-stars with Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton in the romantic comedy, was all set to film a steamy sequence with the actor until her body decided to revolt. Instead of getting hot and bothered, Mann discovered that she was starting to break out in hives.

“I was super excited to make out with the hot guy from ‘Game of Thrones.’ I was so excited to make out with him, and then we did the kissing scene and he’s got this scruff, and I got red, but not just red — I broke out into full hives. And they thought maybe it was his aftershave or something. And we did it again, and I broke out in hives again,” Leslie Mann told Zap2It.

Although the actress is happily married to director and producer Judd Apatow, she was still more than a little thrilled to swap spit with the Game of Thrones star. She also told the website that actors and actresses aren’t telling the whole truth about shooting sex scenes.

“I’ve been married [Apatow] for 17 years, and I was like, ‘Yes!’ You know how actors are like, ‘Yeah, it’s really technical. Sex scenes are just so technical. Work.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s bulls***,” Mann added.

The Other Woman tells the story of three women who decided to take revenge on a guy who is juggling more than a few ladies in his life. The comedy opens in theaters across the United States this Friday (April 25).

While getting to make out with hot guys is definitely a perk of the business, Leslie Mann said she often feels a little guilty about leaving her children behind to shoot a motion picture. Mann’s desire to raise her children right prompted the actress to pass on more than a few projects over the years.

“There were times I chose to raise my kids, to be with them. And Judd makes more money than me so it makes sense. Even now they’re 11 and 16, I feel incredibly guilty being away from them. I miss them so much,” Leslie explained.

She continued, “It’s hard because when I’m with them every single day and night and they’re like ‘Do this! Get me that! Drive me here!’ I’m like ‘Argh! I wish I could be off working!’ But I try to find the balance, even though it’s impossible.”
