Jonathan Rhys Meyers Out Of Hospital After Rumored Relapse
The Tudors actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers left a London hospital on Thursday after he was taken to the facility when paramedics found him slumped over on the floor of his London home on Tuesday night.
Meyers was found when police responded to an emergency call. The actor reportedly refused treatment for half an hour before he was taken to the hospital.
According to the Sun:
“It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life.”
Meyers only offered a “no comment” while leaving the hospital.
A source close to the actor says he did not try to kill himself but instead “fell off the wagon.” It’s well known that Meyers had checked himself into rehab in May to deal with alcohol addiction, earlier that month United airlines banned Meyers from their flights after a tussle aboard one of their planes.
