Demi Moore: There Is Life After Ashton Kutcher

Demi Moore has seemingly been through the ringer for the past couple of years. Demi, 51, was devastated at the end of her six year marriage to That ’70s Show actor, Ashton Kutcher,36, per USAToday.com. It was reported that the reason for their break-up was Kutcher’s infidelity with a twenty-two year old administrative assistant. USAToday.com revealed a statement made by Demi at the time of their separation back in 2011. Moore said, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

Moving on is exactly what Demi has been trying to do. Although just after the separation, Moore was hospitalized for a time before being admitted to Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility, according to Dailymail.co.uk.

At the time Demi was being treated for substance abuse of prescription medication, eating disorders and exhaustion. Now that the divorce has been finalized since 2013, and Kutcher has obviously found love with Mila Kunis and expecting their first child, Demi is seemingly doing much better.

Showbizspy.com reveals that sources close to Demi Moore say that she is ready to jump start her career again. Demi had taken time away from the Hollywood scene to get her life back in order, and now feels that she is ready to make her come back.

“She (Demi) doesn’t need to be a giant star like she used to be, but just wants to work and even produce a few projects as well,” says a source as reported by Showbizspy.com.

Demi is beginning to read scripts, and is looking to not only act, but direct and produce, as well. Diving back into the heart of the business could be the best thing for Demi. Especially since Kutcher and Kunis are planning their wedding. In fact, WebProNews.com reports that Demi will be heading to India for intense yoga sessions during the time of Kutcher’s wedding.

Demi’s yoga days in India will begin at 4am with chanting and meditation, and she will have no contact with the outside world. Moore will have zero access to cell phones, TV, and internet. This will keep her focused and away from the media hubbub.

There were also rumors of Demi adopting a child from Tulum, per DailyMail.co.uk, but that has since been reported as false.

Demi Moore deserves to be happy, and as Kutcher posted on Twitter back in 2011 regarding their separation, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light.” We hope that her difficult times are behind her now, and wish Demi Moore all the best.
