Blake Shelton Insists He Isn’t Getting A Divorce From Miranda Lambert

Blake Shelton insists that his marriage isn’t in danger of falling apart.

The country music singer is probably a little tired of dealing with rumors surrounding his relationship with Miranda Lambert. In fact, it was around this time last year that Shelton faced a different set of reports about the state of their romance.

Despite what your friends are saying about poor Blake around the water cooler, apparently he isn’t a few steps away from signing divorce papers. According to CMT, Shelton wants the world to know that his marriage is safe and sound.

Blake Shelton reportedly used his recent appearance on Today to discuss his relationship with Miranda Lambert. In short: Stop spreading rumors about his pending divorce. None of the rumors you’re reading online are true. According to Shelton, that is.

“I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air, you may pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that’ll say something about my relationship with Miranda, and that it’s in turmoil and we’re gonna divorce,” the singer told Carson Daly.

He added, “And the truth is, I’ve never felt a stronger bond… not only with her but with any other human being in my life. I mean, Miranda and I, she’s my life.”

If this is the first time you’ve heard about Blake Shelton’s rumored divorce, then you’ve wisely avoid any tabloids or gossip magazines in recent days. Celeb Dirty Laundry explains that reports about the country music singer’s troubled relationship with Miranda Lambert originated from one of Life & Style magazine’s anonymous sources.

The website explained:

“Blake had an acoustic concert for fans of The Voice scheduled earlier this month. Unfortunately at dinner before the show he downed martini’s, beer and shots. By the time he took the stage at the Sayer’s Club in Hollywood he was sloppy drunk and cursing people out from the stage while demanding more booze. Miranda heard about her husband’s disastrous behavior and it led to a blowout because she is tired of being embarrassed by him.”

Although you might feel the inexplicable urge to believe this rumor, Blake Shelton wants you to know that there’s absolutely no truth to the passage you just read. Until the singer or Miranda Lambert release an official statement about their divorce, it’s probably in everyone’s best interest to take the guy at his word. Hopefully we won’t have to do the same thing again next year.
