Selena Gomez Unfollows EVERYONE On Instagram
Selena Gomez ‘unfollows’ Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift, reportedly on-off beau Justin Bieber and everyone else on Instagram. Is the starlet “on the edge” as claimed, or is her social media house cleaning the best move she ever made?
Selena Gomez has unfollowed everyone on her Instagram account, beginning with Kylie and Kendall Jenner, then former pal Taylor Swift, and reportedly her on-off beau Justin Bieber.
So, what the heck’s going on?
On Tuesday, fans trended #AlwaysWithYouSelena on Twitter when it was revealed the 21-year-old is following zero people on Instagram.
But, for now, Gomez is letting her unclick finger do all her talking.
The Latina has made major moves in the rest of her life too, firing her manager parents last month and has now signed a new management contract with WME and Brillstein, as well as buying a new Calabasas, California, home she is currently fortifying with a perimeter fence after two trespass intrusions.
And Gomez’s mass Instagram culling of her friends suggests she is also pulling up the gate in her social life.
Just days after Selena was spotted hanging out with the Jenners at the Coachella Festival in Indio, California, before spending time with Bieber before and after his surprise cameo with Chance The Rapper — she deleted all photos of the Jenners from her Instagram on Monday and is not following them.
For their part, Kendall and Kylie have not (yet) erased photos of Gomez from their respective Instagram accounts.
On Tuesday, Gomez ‘unfollowed’ Swift and the rest of her friends including Spring Breakers co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson, and Reese Witherspoon.
British tabloids The Sun and MailOnline claim the reason Gomez has junked the Jenners is down to Bieber.

Citing an unnamed source, The Sun writes:
“Selena is in a really bad place at the moment — she’s on the edge and now overcome with jealousy.”
Then adds, “She really needs to wash her hands of Justin for good.”
The tabloid claims Selena believes Justin was making eyes with Kylie after they hung out at Coachella and now wants nothing more to do with the “Confident” singer.
“Selena is convinced something has gone on between Justin and Kylie,” it’s claimed the insider told the UK newspaper.
Meanwhile, MailOnline claims a source told them Selena iced the Jenners after they “spent time” with Justin.
Frankly, we’re having trouble believing that Bieber, who wrote an entire album – Journals — about Gomez would jeopardize his reportedly resumed relationship with Selena over a 16-year-old that his good friend Jaden Smith has previously been linked to.
Despite Bieber and Gomez’s reported breakup in November 2012, Selena has been seen with Justin many times throughout 2013.
Then in the first week of January 2014 she sought treatment at an Arizona rehab facility reportedly over difficulties “letting go” of Bieber.
The on-off pair were then spotted in Texas, Miami and at Coachella, with TMZ-published photos of the couple at the festival revealing their continued closeness.

It’s worth noting Bieber’s friends followed Gomez on their social media accounts on April 11, just one day after Justin re-followed Selena on Instagram.
Accordingly, tabloid reports of Bieber supposedly being interested in Kylie should be taken with a vat of salt.
That said, Gomez definitely doesn’t appear to be a happy bunny right about now. Following month of reports — that were always denied — of Swift’s intense dislike of Bieber, the two girls haven’t been seen together in months and Selena’s ‘unfollow ‘of Taylor says it all.
Is it perhaps more likely Gomez is cutting ties with her girlfriends because she actually is in relationship with Bieber?
In which case, has she ‘unfollowed’ everyone to throw a watching gossip media off-scent?
Whatever the truth is, Gomez’s recent Instagram postings show the starlet is in a reflective space.
After posting a shot of an Easter Sunday church service with Pastor Judah Smith and the caption: “He is risen, @judahsmith just thank you,” Selena posted a slew of melancholic photos.

The most declarative was an Instagram screenshot of a review of Mary J. Blige’s 2007 album Growing Pains with the lyrics to the “Work in Progress (Growing Pains).”
“I got every material thing I could ever need/I got the love from my fans that adore me/and I’m grateful/But my love for myself is lacking a little bit/I can admit that I’m working on me,” the choice of lyrics makes it clear the Disney alum is in a state of change.
Today, Gomez is scheduled to testify in a deposition for a lawsuit filed by paparazzo Jose Duran who alleges Bieber kicked him in a parking lot at The Commons shopping center in Calabasas, California, back in May 2012.
Duran claims Gomez witnessed the alleged attack and the starlet will be grilled today by his lawyer.
If her deposition goes anything like Bieber’s infamous Miami showdown, Gomez has to be concerned about testifying under oath in a case that could cost Justin millions.
More importantly, a gruelling deposition could introduce an irrevocably sour note into the ballad of Jelena.
No-one knows what Gomez will say or do next but one thing is abundantly clear: Her decisive unfollows on Instagram are a message, and one she wants everyone to take note of.
