Taylor Swift is in the market for a new boyfriend. However, these potential suitors have a few hoops to jump through before the romance can officially begin.

Since the country music singer has encountered several guys who have broken her heart over the years, she’s not as willing to accept any handsome lad who comes knocking on her door. If you want to take Swift out on a date, then you’ll need to make sure you meet all of the criteria on her checklist.

According to Perez Hilton, sources explained that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend list is completely packed with details and specifics. In short: The vetting process is a bit more extensive than it was in previous relationships.

“She’s made a really detailed list of what she wants. She’s all about finding a new boyfriend but she doesn’t want just any guy, she wants the perfect guy. She’s made a really detailed list of what she wants and it’s so intense, there aren’t many guys out there that can live up to it,” an anonymous source explained.

The insider, “She wants someone on her level when it comes to their career, plus, they have to be hot — like leading man hot. And she would love a guy that can speak at least two languages.”

Of course, there reportedly aren’t as many guys willing to try their hand at dating Taylor Swift since they could possibly find themselves the subject of a hit song. Red was heavily influenced by a failed relationship, something a lot of people would understandably want to avoid at all cost.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Taylor Swift’s penchant for singing about her ex-boyfriends has ultimately scared away a lot of potential suitors. That’s what tends to happen when you date a someone who uses their personal life as inspiration for their musical output.

“Taylor’s advisers are tired of setting her up on dates only to have her strange personality scare men away. Taylor is almost impossible to find dates for her because of the nature of her music, which focuses heavily on heartbreak and ex-boyfriends,” a completely different source recently dished.

The insider added, “None of the guys she shows interest in want to be the subject of a mean song six months down the road or be painted the bad guy, so Taylor’s team want her to take a break from boys.”
