Halston Sage: Zac Efron’s New Girlfriend Helping Him Stay Clean After Rehab

Halston Sage has been more than just a girlfriend to Zac Efron.

The pair met on the set of their movie Neighbors and have now officially begun dating. The two have reportedly been seeing each other a lot lately, including a trip to the Staples Center in Los Angeles to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks.

Halston Sage and Zac Efron have also been spotted laughing and generally looking happy together on a few other dates.

“They are definitely an item,” a source told E! News.

“They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer,” the source added. “Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He’s really good to her.”

But it seems there may be another level to their relationship. Sources say that Halston has been helping Zac stay on the straight and narrow since he left rehab, offering the 26-year-old actor the support he needs at an otherwise stressful time.

Halston Sage may have even ended a high-profile relationship to pursue Zac Efron. Just a few days after she was spotted with Zac at the Lakers game, Halston called it quits with her then-boyfriend, Glee star Chord Overstreet.

The couple might have Seth Rogen to thank for their getting together. Zac told MTV News earlier this year that he was drawn to Neighbors because of Rogen.

“I really admire Seth. I think that he is one of my favorite comedic actors of our generation. There really hasn’t been a role that I’ve seen in him that I haven’t enjoyed,” he said.

Efron added, “It’s nice to step inside these guys’ world of comedy and be with Seth in it. He’s a great partner in crime. We’re having a good time. It’s a bit of a dream come true for me.”

And he got Halston Sage out of it too — not a bad experience.
