Zayn Malik Shares His Thoughts About One Direction’s ‘You And I’

Zayn Malik is feeling a little romantic about One Direction’s new single.

Since the singer is on the cusp of becoming a married man, he obviously has some strong emotions about the song “You and I.” For those who aren’t keeping count, this is the fourth single from the group’s 2013 album Midnight Memories.

If you’ve already purchased a copy of the aforementioned record, then you’re already well-versed in the new single. However, this shouldn’t stop fans from getting overwhelming excited about the upcoming video, a clip that should arrive online this Friday (April 18).

Zayn Malik is definitely anxious for fans to feast their eyes on the new song and video. In a preview posted on Instagram, Malik explained how folks can use “You and I” in their daily lives.

Zayn isn’t the only one who’s excited to share the new tune with the world. Malik and his bandmates got tongues wagging about the release in a clip uploaded to YouTube. If you’re a hardcore One Direction fans, then chances are you’ve already watched it a few dozen times.

“We are very excited to announce that our new single is ‘You and I.’ This one’s for you, so I hope you like it,” Harry Styles explained.

While it’s more than a little obvious that Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are madly in love, it’s still unclear when the pair intend to walk down the aisle. According to Us Weekly, even the singers aren’t entirely sure when they’ll have time to tie the knot.

“Everything is so busy. Hopefully we will one day be able to sit down together and start making plans. No date at all in mind yet,” Edwards explained.

She added, “[The Little Mix girls are] are ambitious and want to take over the world and do everything we can while we’re young and have time to do it. But I still want the same thing every other girl or woman wants in the world.”

Zayn Malik also has his hands full at the moment. Word on the street suggests One Direction is hard at work on a new album, a record they’ll probably support with lots of promotion and a tour. However, it’s unclear when the new songs will hit retail shelves.
