‘Mork And Mindy’ Reunited On ‘The Crazy Ones’
The season finale of The Crazy Ones, starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Geller, had something spectacular for their viewers, that was decades in the making. Pam Dawber appeared on the show and fans went “crazy” on The Crazy Ones (in a good way of course). “Mork” and “Mindy” reunite once again!
According to The Examiner, Mork and Mindy ended with the two characters, played by Robin Williams (Mork) and Pam Dawber (Mindy). Mork and Mindy received a lot of appraise along with a legion of fans. It also was the primary proponent in skyrocketing Robin’s Career. Now “Mork” is the co-star of another hilarious sitcom that is also doing well.
When asked about Mork and Mindy, Pam Dawber had this to state:
“There’s a point where something has to give. I had really come to a decision where I had had the opportunity to do just about everything you can do in show business. And I really wanted to stay home and raise my kids. I wanted to be home, I wanted to make them dinner, I wanted to drive them to school, and participate in that part of life.”
Entertainment Tonight got a bit of extra coverage as they were allowed on set with the pair and got a behind-the-scenes look at what the special episode may be like, prior to airing, along with their feelings of working together decades after Mork and Mindy. Robin Williams actually joked about the situation by stating:
“It’s been what? 32 years. I remember there were three cameras and they shot on film.”
In related news, Robin Williams isn’t just scoring another break with The Crazy Ones, which NBC tried to compete against withThe Michael J. Fox Show. The show failed horribly to the point NBC’s reconciliation was to cancel it. There has also been a report that he may return for Night At The Museum III here on The Inquisitr. Previously, the last two movies in the series were set first in the Museum of Natural History in New York City then the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. It is unknown what the third museum will be, but if they want to go with one that has more size, popularity, and historical prominence, the Louvre in Paris, France would be great.
Who knows? Maybe this special reunion between “Mork” and “Mindy” on The Crazy Ones might spark something of a Mork and Mindy continuation. Fans will once again be able to immitate Mork’s hand gesture while proclaiming, “Na-nu! Na-nu!”
