Pretty Little Liars Star Celebrates 27th Birthday In Style

Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell celebrated her 27th birthday at the Esterel restaurant at the Sofitel in Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to CelebBuzz!.

The party was a star-studded event, but not a giant shindig like what is usually expected. Mitchell’s closest friends from PLL including Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Ian Harding (Spencer, Hanna and Ezra on the show, respectively.)

The room was decked out in silver and pink decorations, said CelebBuzz!.

Executive producer of Pretty Little Liars Marlene King tweeted at Mitchell on her special day:

Remembering the first day I met this one. Happy Birthday shaym! I’m blessed to call u my friend.”

Mitchell took to Instagram to broadcast pics from the event.

Shay posted this along with the picture of her balloons on Instagram:

Pretty Little Liars has enjoyed five seasons on ABC Family. The show is based on the book series by young adult author Sara Shepard.

Season five of the show is going to feature the 100th episode in the series. Executive producer Marlene King has been dropping hints on Twitter about a new star of season 5. She tweeted this on April 8:

I just wrote my first #Hencer scene. How could it have taken so long? #PLL100“

King has also told that season five is going to answer a lot of questions. She told The Hollywood Reporter,

We hope that it’s emotionally epic for us. There will be a big reveal: One of our mysteries that we’ve had for a long time on the show will be revealed in the 100th.”

We can only speculate at the mystery.

Shay Mitchell was working with an adorable new costar on April 7. She tweeted this:

I am working with the cutest actor today… Meet Casey! #PLL“
