Big Sean And Naya Rivera Call Off Their Engagement

It seems the engagement ring Big Sean bought for Naya Rivera turned out to be a lie. For now, the wedding between the rapper and Glee star is off. The unfortunate news was confirmed to US Weekly.

“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”

The rumors and accusations included a report by Star Magazine. They reported about Big Sean’s infidelity, which is considered the primary cause for calling off the engagement. A source, for the US Weekly, stated that Big Sean is the one who called off the engagement and that the allegations of cheating are untrue.

“Sean did not cheat on Naya and the allegations are 100 percent false and untrue.”

Big Sean and Naya Rivera first met each other on Twitter and went public with their romantic relationship about a year ago. It was back at October they announced their engagement. Despite Big Sean and Naya never confirming an official wedding date, Naya has been observed shopping for a wedding gow after the announcement of their engagement. She also confirmed that Big Sean was extremely helpful in the wedding planning.

“We definitely bounce things off of each other [and] we’re always on the same page about everything, which is probably why we’re getting married.”

Naya Rivera also included her personal insights on how Big Sean was going to be “an amazing husband”, and someday, “a great father.”

“He’s so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love. We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it’s even sweeter that I’ve found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute.”

Despite the amicableness of the the engagement ending, it may be a farce. Just recently, both Big Sean and Naya Rivera unfollowed each other on Twitter. This is ironic because that is how they met last year. Also, Big Sean now stated that the wedding plans were “going too fast for him”, which seems to be the opposite of Big Sean’s actions during his engagement. Not to mention, another representative for Big Sean stated that the rapper has been unfaithful to Naya Rivera. That seems to be contradictory to what the representative told US Weekly.
