Justin Timberlake Gives Advice To The Voice Finalist Jamie Johnson

Justin Timberlake took time out of his rehearsal to give some words of advice to The Voice finalist, Jamie Johnson, reports, Daily Mail. The advice was given by superstar Timberlake as Johnson was preparing for this weekend’s ending of The Voice.

Kylie Minogue, Johnoson’s coach, took the hopeful pop singer to meet Timberlake. At the time, Timberlake was rehearsing for his performance at London’s O2 Arena.

Timberlake went a step further and actually allowed the 19-year-old to try out the stage at the Arena. If Johnson wins the BBC1 contest, it will not be the last time he sets foot on that stage and others.

After being given a microphone, Johnson sang ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me,’ which is the song that pulled him through the semi-final last weekend. Timberlake’s backing band and backing vocalists accompanied Johnson through the song, while Minogue watched and danced along to the music.

The performance was added as a part of tonight’s final show.

A program insider stated, “Kylie has been such a star, opening up her incredible black book of contacts and taking Jamie to meet her friend, one of the biggest music stars in the world.”

Timberlake is one of Johnson’s idols, according to Kent Online, so there is no doubt that he was excited to hang out with the star.

Johnson went up against Jermain Jackman, Sally Barker and Christina Marie Wickens in this weekend’s final.

To Johnson, winning the show is more than just fame and personal fortune. “People get the wrong idea,” the singer/song writer from Gillingham explained. “You don’t become a millionaire overnight. It’s about getting your music out there. My parents have always been supportive of me, so I’d love to pay their mortgage.”

In the live final, each artist performed a song of their choosing with Minogue, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson performing an exclusive duet with their finalist, as well.

Timberlake will be on tour throughout Europe from now until July, when he will be returning to North America to continue the tour.
