Watch WrestleMania 30 Free PPV Stream Live On WWE Network?
It is possible to watch a WrestleMania 30 free live stream online or are we stuck signing up for the WWE Network?
In a related report by The Inquisitr, while Vince McMahon has locked down most options there are some free things for your WrestleMania 30 watch list.
The WWE Network free trial week had some fans conspiring on how they might use to watch WrestleMania 30 free only to cancel the free membership. After all, the regular membership locked WWE fans into a 6-month commitment to pay $9.99 per month, which means it would actually be cheaper to buy the PPV event if all you cared for was seeing WM 30. So the idea I heard being discussed was to wait on using the free trial until this week.
But the authority was not to be slammed into the mat that easily. They carefully limited the WWE Network’s free trial so it expired before it could overlap with any major PPV events, including WrestleMania XXX. Regardless, the WWE Network is actually a very good deal if you watch more than three PPV events in a year. The total price is a little under $120 for the year, but if you were to watch all 12 WWE PPV events in 2014 then the cost would be about $600. In addition, the WWE Network provides original programming, reality shows, documentaries, classic matches and more than 1,500 hours of old matches, even including classic PPV events.
Still, the WWE is providing some free content. Fans had hoped the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal being promoted by Hulk Hogan would be featured on WrestleMania 30 free for all as part of the pre-show. Because of all the hype, the WrestleMania 30 live stream will be the first major test of the WWE Network. Some are worried the system may crash, although the New Orleans venue will be broadcasting WM 30 via a dedicated Internet connection. And it’s not like there is not reason to worry. The first official stream of the Academy Awards and the True Detective finale stream both went down while everyone was watching. But the WWE believes they are ready to handle the load:
“Notwithstanding the overwhelmingly positive response to WWE Network, we want to ensure subscribers have the highest-quality experience watching WrestleMania 30 and all our programming, and thus have put in place significant quality assurances. These steps include increased capacity to handle high volumes of transactions, logins, and concurrent live streams, daily ‘stress’ testing of all systems over an extended period, and the addition of technology experts to review our plan and procedures. We’re confident that we’ll be ready on Sunday, April 6.”
