Haylie Duff is having a pretty good week.
Not only did the Napoleon Dynamite star land her very own television program with the folks at the Cooking Channel, she’s also engaged to boyfriend Matt Rosenberg . If anyone out there has enjoyed a better week than Duff, then you’d better speak up now. She seems to have knocked this one out of the park.
In true modern fashion, Haylie Duff celebrated her engagement with a post on Instagram . Instead of heading over to the social media site to check out the photo in question, simply take a look at the pics embedded below.

Not surprisingly, Duff also took a moment to post some information about the new TV show and her recent engagement on the Real Girls Kitchen blog . Even Haylie agrees that this is probably one of the best weeks of her young life.
“As if announcing ‘The Real Girl’s Kitchen’ TV show wasn’t enough, Matt just took me by total surprise and proposed… on April Fool’s Day of all days! The moment was genuine and sweet (like him!) and I couldn’t wait to say yes!” Duff wrote.
She continued, “We are so excited and happy to share our wonderful news with everyone! We both feel so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends and can’t wait to start this new adventure!”
According to SheKnows , Haylie has owned and operated her own food blog for several years. Once the website started to attract a large number of followers, the Cooking Channel came calling . Fortunately for those of us who have bad luck in the kitchen, Duff keeps everything casual and very down to earth. Chances are her show will follow the same successful recipe, pun intended.
What can fans of the blog expect from the Real Girls Kitchen TV Show? Haylie explained, “We’ll visit my good friend Ernesto [Uchimura] at the restaurant Plan Check. [And] learn how to make the perfect burger, or hang out in Malibu in my trailer at the trailer park at Paradise Cove. It’s a loose format. I just want people to go on culinary adventures with me.”
Haylie Duff’s TV show should debut on the Cooking Channel this June. No word yet when the actress intends to tie the knot.
