Did Katy Perry Find A New Man Following John Mayer Cheating?

Katy Perry dumped her last beau, John Mayer, last month and it seems she is moving on, after photos of her and rapper Riff Raff surfaced on social media.

The rapper — whose real name is Horst Christian Simco — and Katy shared some info about their date on Instagram on March 20.

Katy posted a pic of her and a smiling Riff Raff with the caption:

“TBT to when I went on a date with Riff Raff aka @jodyhighroller also, regram!”

This is what Riff Raff said of the date with Katy Perry the prior day:

“ON A DATE WiTH KATY PERRY SHE iS PURDY.”

Of course, this is not necessarily a romantic date, it could be that the pair is working on a collaboration and from the looks of the barely dressed brunette that was seen on a video where the rapper talked about his time with Katy Perry it might just be that.

For some reason we just don’t see Katy Perry really dating Riff Raff and besides, if it was a true romantic thing, she wouldn’t be advertising it on social media.

When TMZ caught up with Riff Raff, they asked him what he and Katy did on their “date” that took place after a Skrillex party:

“We had some sushi, went bowling, and got some drinks, an average date.”

Whatever the case, Riff Raff is open to another “date” with Katy when she gets back from Belgium and they may get together again next week for what he called “round two.”

The news come after rumors that Katy’s ex, John Mayer, was cheating on her with former flame, Kelly Monaco, according to a report in Showbizspy.com.

The website claims that Perry dumped her crooner boyfriend, after she found out that he was seeing Monaco — whom he previously dated — behind her back and that was it. She then headed to London and Milan on her own.

Monaco — who stars in General Hospital — and Mayer met a few years back in Los Angeles and immediately hooked up. A source told Star magazine:

“She was open to the things that John’s into, like sexy toys, tying each other up and threesomes. He couldn’t get enough.”

And apparently Mayer was still into Monaco, while dating Katy, with whom he had an on-and-off relationship for a couple of years.

Poor Katy Perry seems to be unlucky in love, but she is pragmatic about romance, after she told GQ Magazine in February, “I think I need to grow up.”
