Khloe Kardashian Backs Out Of ‘Fashion Police’ Appearance
Khloe Kardashian has reportedly backed out of a guest appearance on the E! series Fashion Police.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was originally slated to appear on Wednesday’s episode of the series. However, Joan River’s joke about Kim Kardashian reportedly rubbed Khloe the wrong way. According to Wet Paint, this prompted her to cancel the gig.
So what did Rivers do that greatly upset Khloe? Joan appeared with Kim’s sex tape co-star Ray J in a segment on the WE TV program Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best. The pair poked a little fun at the infamous porn clip, something that didn’t settle very well with the Kardashian clan.
TMZ reports the cancellation has caused a bit of a headache for the folks behind-the-scenes at Fashion Police. Since they were counting on Khloe Kardashian to appear on the episode, her decision to back out understandably threw a wrench into their well-oiled machine.
A source recently explained to the New York Daily News that E! is a little upset with Khloe Kardashian and her decision to drop out of the Fashion Police guest spot. While TMZ claims the show is currently in “panic mode,” this insider said Joan isn’t too worried about the situation.
“Joan is fine. She says ‘Thank you’ for the publicity for ‘Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?’ What is she going to do? She wrote new jokes. She’s doesn’t give a s*** about the Kardashians,” the anonymous source explained.
Although it’s obvious at this point that Khloe Kardashian isn’t planning to make an appearance on Fashion Police, it’s unclear who — if anyone — will take her place. According to The Blemish, the episode will move forward on-schedule without her. If Khloe wanted to disrupt the production, then she ultimately failed in her mission.
Kardashian may have ruffled more than a few feathers with some E! producers, but it’s unlikely this situation will put her new reality TV series in jeopardy. Us Weekly reports that Khloe and Kourtney will star in Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons this fall. Filming on the project is presently scheduled to begin this summer.
The website explained:
“…the sisters — along with Kourtney’s longtime love Scott Disick — will be residing in the East End through Labor Day weekend. During their stay in the luxurious coastal summer vacation spot, Kourtney and Khloe will open Dash’s first pop-up boutique. The pair will also work on relocating Dash’s SoHo-based store to a new spot in the city.”
