Wrestlemania XXX Match Big For Both John Cena And Bray Wyatt
The “Road to Wrestlemania” would not be complete these days without the inclusion of a marquee John Cena match, and his match at Wrestlemania XXX has the potential to be one of the best Cena matches in years. Cena has been at the top of the wrestling scene for many years now, and it’s not often that a guy at the top has an opportunity to both single-handedly validate an up-and-coming superstar, while simultaneously upping their own status.
As stated on Bleacher Report, Bray Wyatt can walk away from a match with John Cena at Wrestlemania XXX as a superstar to be feared, win or lose. Wyatt’s character isn’t concerned with wins and losses, all he cares about is making sure Cena suffers, and that his message of anarchy is spread to the masses.
That being said, a victory over John Cena, the “Superman” of WWE, could go a long way in furthering the career of Wyatt, who has been doing all the right things to make a name for himself since being called up to the main roster. With dark and twisted promos, and ever improving in-ring skills, Wyatt has found a nice spot for himself somewhere in between typical heel tactics, and mystic Undertaker-style deviousness. With promos including comments about Cena’s “plastic girlfriend,” Wyatt is rapidly becoming a master of his craft.
Regardless of the outcome of the Cena vs. Wyatt match at Wrestlemania XXX, John Cena will still be the face of the WWE, and its primary vehicle for the foreseeable future. John is also still a main-stay on WWE‘s Total Divas reality show. E! Online reports that in the most recent episode of Total Divas, Cena and real life girlfriend Nikki Bella rekindle their relationship which was on the rocks, at least on the show. Inquisitr recently covered the much publicized break-up of the John and Nikki. John is still also doing the heavy lifting when it comes to WWE’s promotional work, including a recent stop by Live with Michael and Kelly, where he talked a little about his relationship with Nikki while promoting the upcoming Wrestlemania XXX event.
John Cena as the flagship superstar of the WWE will remain unaffected regardless of the outcome of his Wrestlemania XXX match, but a win by Bray Wyatt can help make Cena come across a little more mortal, which could help with that “Superman” persona so many fans hate. With a win over the one and only John Cena, Wyatt can be instantly validated and legitimately compete at the top of the ranks. Regardless of the outcome, both superstars have an opportunity to shine on “the grandest stage of ’em all”, and Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena should be a very entertaining match up.
