Watch Manchester United Vs Manchester City Live
Manchester United vs Manchester City is alway a passionate encounter, and you can watch their latest tussle live online as both sides try to prove that they are the most dominant side in the city.
The Red Devils have slipped out of both the title race and top four contention since David Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson, while, under Manuel Pellegrini, City are still well within reach of claiming their second Premier League title.
The match takes place at Old Trafford, and has a scheduled kickoff time of 7:45 pm GMT.
The Manchester derby was originally scheduled to take place on 3 March. However, it had to be rearranged because of Manchester City’s involvement in the Capital One Cup final; a game that they eventually won 3-1.
City will enter the match as favorites because of their superior league position, but after two wins on the bounce United fans will be confident that they can overcome their cross-city rivals for the first time in three matches.
After their crushing 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool, in which they looked abject and struggled to string two passes together, United have improved slightly over their previous two games. They managed to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Olympiakos in order to qualify for the quarter final of the UEFA Champions League, before they beat West Ham United on Saturday thanks to two goals from Wayne Rooney.
City know that only a victory will do as they continue to hunt down Chelsea, who currently sit at the top of the Premier League table.
At the moment, the Citizens are six points behind the league leaders, however they have three games in hand, one of which is their match with United, and if they win each of them they will have a three point advantage over Jose Mourinho’s men.
However, both sides have various injuries and suspensions to key players to contend with. For Manchester United, Nemaja Vidic is still banned, after his red card against Liverpool, while Robin Van Persie is out injured for at least four weeks. It’s believed that David Moyes will stick with the same side that defeated West Ham.
City are without the injured Sergio Aguero and Matija Nastasic, however their club captain Vincent Company will return after serving a one-match ban.
