Pretty Little Liars: More Drama Set For Season 5
The Pretty Little Liars season finale left viewers feeling both excited and full of anxiety as the winter season ended with a bang, literally.
Spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen the winter season finale of ABC Family‘s hit show, Pretty Little Liars, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) finally spills all to her friends about what exactly happened to her the night she went missing and Ezra (Ian Harding) was shot by A!
Okay, that’s it for the major spoilers, but now you know what we mean when we say the winter finale ended with a bang… Viewers were left in a grey area when it comes to Ezra’s well-being considering the show ended with A, clad in black, shooting the teacher before disappearing once again. After all that, plus more, viewers are left asking “what happens now?”
Season five of Pretty Little Liars has already promised to be a drama-filled season, as if the previous four seasons haven’t been. There are all kinds of rumors floating around as to what may end up happening when the show picks back up on June 10, 2014.
Who tried to kill Alison in the first place?
Is Ezra going to survive the gunshot wound?
Was Mrs. Dilaurentis covering for A? If so, why?
Is Mrs. Dilaurentis A?
Is Caleb ever going to come back to Rosewood?
Where is Toby?
What are the Hastings hiding?
Will Alison stay in Rosewood?
If Ezra Survives, will there be a love triangle between him, Aria and Alison?
These are only a few of the questions that fans have asked since last week’s Pretty Little Liars season finale. These are the same questions that are sparking all sorts of rumors about the summer season.
One of the hottest rumors floating around is that Ezra does survive the gunshot wound, which may have been confirmed by Ian Harding in an interview with TV Guide. “I did sign a contract for the fifth season,” Harding said.
In the season finale, Aria was left to believe that Ezra would do anything to win her love back, well, at least that’s the Alison seems to have hinted at. Well, viewers are now questioning whether that’s entirely true. “As you’ll see in the finale, things are up in the air,” Lucy Hale told Hollywood Life. In recent interview, Lucy hasn’t given much to go off of, claiming that she doesn’t know what’s going to happen in season five of Pretty Little Liars now that Alison seems to be back to stay.
“That’s why I’m excited about Season 5 because I know absolutely nothing about what we’re going to shoot, but now that Alison is back in the picture, who knows? Anything is possible. I’d be down for a little love triangle — a little cat fight between Aria and Alison.”
So it looks like season five of Pretty Little Liars has a lot in store. Will viewers get all the answers they are looking for? It’s much too early to tell. Do you have the summer season of Pretty Little Liars marked on your calendar?
