Last month 14-year-old Payton Wall met President Barack Obama after writing a 1,500-word essay about losing her dad in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers. During that meeting Wall also tried to send her essay to singer Justin Bieber who she credited with helping save her life. Apparently Bieber was harder to get an audience with than the President.
Payton had tweeted to Bieber:
“Hey! I have an awful life story and without your music I don’t know if I could have survived. Do you think I could send you a letter?”
When meeting with President Obama Payton told the President of her desire to meet the Biebs to which Obama responded, “I know Justin. Maybe I could set something up.”
While Bieber never responded to Payton’s tweet he did take to Twitter to broadcast the following message:
“Pretty sure President @BarackObama will keep this promise. #payitforward.”
It turns out the President of the United States was able to gain an audience for Payton with Justin Bieber and she met the singer (pictured to his left) with her sister Avery and friend Madison in New York City on Thursday.
So there you have it, in order to meet with Justin Bieber you should first get a much easier to obtain audience with President Obama.
