Justin Timberlake Is Third Biggest Earner In Music! Find Out Who Beat Him

Justin Timberlake, former N’Sync member, earned more than $31 million dollars last year, making him the third biggest earner in music according to music authority Billboard.

The feat was accomplished despite a seven-year break from the industry, a time span some considered a possible music career ender for the “SexyBack” singer.

But with the support of crazily loyal fans, Justin was still able to dominate music with a groundbreaking album in 2013 and a tour with master rapper Jay Z in the same year.

Timberlake also grossed $43 million dollars on his own, with 39 performances in front of millions of fans last year. He also earned as much a $5 million dollars just from royalties from his previous songs.

Justin was able to defeat many of today’s music legends. Ranking at number 4, just below Timberlake was rock icon Bon Jovi who earned a few thousands short of $30 million dollars. Surprisingly, three steps behind Justin was “Single Ladies” singer and Jay Z spouse herself, Beyonce, earning a bit less than $24 million dollars in 2013.

Justin Timberlake took a break from music to focus on his career as an actor which also proved to be quite successful. He has hosted Saturday Night Live many times and has garnered positive acclaim for his funny bits together with Jimmy Fallon. Justin also starred on the Oscar-nominated movie The Social Network.

In 2013, Timberlake was ranked 12th most influential man in the world by AskMen.

But his current earnings from his songs and albums prove that Justin can be a big name both in music and movies.

However, Timberlake still faces a strong adversary in the music industry: country music.

Two country singers beat Justin for the top two ranks in the money-making list. Second place was Kenny Chesney, who earned almost $33 million dollars. Billboard says the country icon has consistently been on the top lists for years.

At the number one spot was Taylor Swift, who earned a whopping $39.5 million dollars last year. Her heartbreak songs defeated Timberlake’s swagger with more than $8 million dollar difference between the two, proving that Swift’s shaky romantic relationships have been financially beneficial for the country pop singer..

Despite impressive earnings, some are sadly still more focused on the singer’s personal life and the circulating rumors of his divorce with actress Jessica Biel. The two have repeatedly denied these claims, with Justin Timberlake himself saying that he is very happy with his current relationship.
