Michelle Beadle Gives Prom Date To Paralyzed Hockey Player Jack Jablonski

Michelle Beadle will be going on a prom date with paralyzed hockey player Jack Jablonski.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, a Texans cheerleader agreed to take a high school football player to the prom after he asked her via Twitter.

When Beadle returned to the ESPN she burned some bridges with NBC (never mind when Michelle upset AJ Lee by calling her boyfriend CM Punk a “f*ck face”) but now that she’s back she’s off to a great start. She even managed to get surprised on Wednesday when she went onto a radio show called Hockey Night in Minnesota. The host, Jack Jablonski, dropped a bomb only minutes into their conversation:

“I’d formally like to invite you to my prom.”

Beadle’s gasp was quite audible, but she didn’t turn him down, either:

“Get out! Seriously, I would love it…can I wear like an ’80s dress to the prom?”

Jablonski is a 16 year old high schooler whose life took an unexpected turn when a hit during a hockey game resulted in his spinal cord being severely damaged. He currently has lost all functionality from the chest on down but he claims he will “prove the doctors wrong” by recovering. So step one of this recovery process must be to ask his teenage crush out on a date, so at least he’s off to great start.

Michelle, for her part, is starting to feel like a teenager again:

She also on the lookout for a formal prom gown: “I know that he’s a badass and someone I look up to immensely. I was shocked when he asked today. And I adore him for doing it live on the radio.
