Bam Margera Excoriates Roger Ebert for Twittering About Ryan Dunn’s Death
Bam Margera did not appreciate Roger Ebert’s sentiments on Twitter regarding the death of his good friend Ryan Dunn, also of Jackass.
Dunn was killed yesterday morning when his Porsche went off the road and burst into flames. A passenger was also killed, and police have yet to identify the other individual in the car- presumably to notify next of kin. Despite the circumstances of the crash- Dunn tweeted and Tumbled pictures of himself drinking directly prior to the crash, causing many to speculate he was intoxicated- most have expressed sympathy about the young man’s violent and unexpected death.
Except Roger Ebert. Ebert took Dunn’s death as a chance to moralize about drunk driving, even insulting the recently deceased Jackass star on Twitter:
“Jackass” star Ryan Dunn, RIP. His Porsche flew through 40 yards of trees. http://bit.ly/jn2qWV Friends don’t let jackasses drink and drive.
Margera quickly sniped back at the movie critic:
I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of shit roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents… About a jackass drunk driving and his is one, fuck you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat fucking mouth!
Do you think it’s in poor taste to give moral lectures when many are grieving?
