Matthew Broderick Affair: Sarah Jessica Parker Won’t Even Google Herself

Matthew Broderick’s affair has Sarah Jessica Parker working hard to save the marriage, and she won’t even Google herself because of all the rumors floating around.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker once came close to divorce after rumors of an affair with a 25-year-old youth worker came to light. Some people even believed the surrogate mother Michelle Ross, who gave birth to the twins Marion and Tabitha, was somehow involved in the affair (or was in fact the woman Broderick had the affair with). That’s not true at all as far as this writer is aware, but even then the celebrity couple couldn’t escape controversy because some in the media insisted Ross was not fairly compensated for her services (the surrogate mother supposedly made around $30,000).

So it’s perhaps with no surprise that JSP doesn’t want to know what the media are saying about her:

“I don’t Google myself. Good God, no! I have absolutely no constitution for that. I’m curious about everything, except what people have to say about me. It’s the random cruelty I really don’t understand. It’s not good for us. I don’t know, you know, how we go back in time to a better place.”

She also pointed out easily rumors could claim she might divorce Matthew Broderick:

“I’m almost scared to tell you but someone asked how he stayed married all these years and he said, ‘We never wanted to get divorced at the same time.’ Now everyone will think there was a period at which we did want to get divorced. But you stay married because you want to be there, despite everything. I don’t know, it seems like it’s just as deserving of effort as anything else is, certainly a career. I guess we both want to be in it.”

Of course, part of the reason these rumors start in the first place is because Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker rarely make public statements about their relationship or home life. The good news is that the last time they did say anything it was entirely positive and they’ve been focused on downsizing their careers so conflicting schedules do not keep them from each other and their kids. Bravo!
