Liam Payne Talks 'Ridiculous' One Direction Tour And Music

Liam Payne of One Direction may not be the star of the vocal group, but as far as being vocal about the direction of the group, he seems to be the one to give the fans what they want in terms of divulging new information. With the demise of boy band The Wanted, Payne is making sure that the fans of One Direction know that they aren't planning to go anywhere but up for the year of 2014.

Recently Payne encouraged One Direction's male listeners to have an unbiased listening session with One Direction's new music. Sitting down with Capital FM, Payne spoke about the biased reputation that hurts their credibility as musicians:

"People say we don't work hard and it's all a game and whatever. We just wanna make good music, and this album - honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album - pick up our album and see what you feel."
In addition to a new body of work for One Direction, Payne teased information about the boy band's next big task, and that's to put on a large tour that will surprise fans and first time One Direction concert goers. Word on the street is that when it comes to the new tour it's going to be "ridiculous."

In exactly two months Liam Payne and the boys will be kicking off a huge tour in Colombia. The fact that Payne is going out of his way to say that this is a tour worth seeing says something, given the fact that their Take Me Home tour was one of the most successful. Their new "Where We Are" stadium tour is set to include bonfire night style fireworks.

Payne told Capital FM:

"We have Coldplay and Rudimental's pyro guy so we're gonna have some amazing fireworks. It's gonna be like bonfire night all over again."
One Direction member Niall Horan also teased that their show is being put together by some pretty reputable folks in the industry.

"We've been chatting with our creative director, a guy called Lee Lodge – he's very good at stadiums. He did Robbie Williams' last tour - he came up with the creative directive for that. We've worked with Lee on basically all our TV performances we've ever done and Lee has decided that he wants to come on board for our stadium tour and he's been sending us pictures this week of our stage and stuff and it's literally ridiculous."

So far there aren't any details on when One Direction's album is going to come out.
