‘Pretty Little Liars’ Troian Bellisario Engaged To Patrick Adams

Pretty Little Liars has seen quite a bit of excitement since finding out that Spencer Hastings has a drug problem and Aria Montgomery’s relationship with Ezra Fits was pretty much all a sham. Well, Pretty Little Liars’ Troian Bellisario is bringing more excitement to the table as news breaks that she and boyfriend Patrick Adams are engaged!

According to Us Weekly, Bellisario, 28, and Adams, 32, have actually been engaged since January. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly, “They got engaged in early January and have been keeping it a secret. She’s been hiding her ring in the press.”

The Pretty Little Liars and Suits stars first met while performing in a play together back in 2009.The two have reportedly been dating for the past three years, despite their busy schedules. Bellisario’s ABC Family show films in Los Angeles and Adams’ USA Network show films in Toronto, so the two are more often apart than together, though that doesn’t seem to stop their love! When asked how they make it work, Bellisario told Us Weekly, “A lot of air miles…You make it work!”

“We’re not really around each other for many months out of the year, so it’s just kind of a fun process to get back into the ‘getting to know you’ kind of phase of things,” the Pretty Little Liars star added.

Bellisario told People back in October that while it is hard to always be apart from the one you love, it seems to work for her and Adams. “It’s a challenge but it’s kind of perfect because we’re such analytic, hyper intelligent people that sometimes just to be in each other’s faces all the time might have been too much for us.”

So maybe when it comes to love, distance can make the heart grow fonder! The question then becomes, will their busy work schedules get in the way of their soon to be marriage? Us Weekly quotes Bellisario saying that communication and understanding help bind the two together:

“[We] Might be in different cities — with a different cast or a different story line — but we are both experiencing a very unique opportunity in both of our careers at similar times,” she explained to the news outlet. “So it’s really, it¹s definitely something that we talk about a lot.”
