Kanye West May Appear In New ‘Drunk In Love’ Remix Video
It’s a new week, so that means we have more Kanye West news for his followers or haters. As we previously reported the “Gold Digger” rapper and “genius”, dropped a new verse on Beyonce’s racy song “Drunk In Love.” The track, which explores her love with husband Jay Z, is even racier with West rapping about oral sex with his fiance Kim Kardashian.
Now we’re learning that West may appear in an all-new video to be released by Beyonce. As you probably know by now, Beyonce released a visual album, which consisted of a whopping fourteen tracks and videos to accompany each track. Although Beyonce already released a pretty solid video for “Drunk In Love” we are learning that she may be filming a second version, which begs the question if West will pop up as well.
“Drunk In Love” featuring Kanye West was debuted by Hot 97’s Angie Martinez and following that Idolator reports that Beyonce hinted at a new video featuring her frequent collaborator and friend. Clips were released of Beyonce wearing a cowgirl hat and swinging a lasso, which usually wouldn’t indicate a video, but the imagery involved correlates to West’s racy lyrics about his relationship with Kim Kardashian.
“You reverse that cowgirl / you reverse, reversing / and I impregnated your mouth, girl.”
Although it’s just chatter among music sites, we can imagine that West would want to capitalize on the success, or at least the controversial nature surrounding Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love.” In addition to Kanye’s “Drunk In Love” version, another artist, The Weeknd also decided to make an unauthorized version for his fans, and that version is pretty solid as well.
As for Kanye, even if he doesn’t appear in a new video, he’s already a very busy artist. Some may argue that the “Stronger” rapper is a bit over saturated at this point. One person that may not agree with that is West, who recently just compared himself to Prince during a New Jersey show. West, who is currently on tour to support his album Yeezus, took to the Prudential Center, and compared himself to greats like Prince, Miles Davis, Lauryn Hill and Tupac.
During his set he related himself to a “Gemini creator” having said during his now famous onstage rants/sermon.
“You know you see me as a Gemini creator of 2014. You know you’re looking in the face of Miles Davis, you know you’re looking in the face of Lauryn Hill, you know you’re looking in the face of Pac, you know you’re looking in the face of Biggie, you know you’re looking in the face of Prince, you know you’re looking in the face of every Gemini creator. This ain’t no spoof, so play this sh*t at your motherf***ing meetings when you write your jokes, play this shit back when you’re writing your headlines for the tabloids.”
Hopefully SNL got the note from Kanye.
