Katy Perry And John Mayer Engaged? Singer Seen Sporting Ring
Katy Perry was seen sporting a big ring during her romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with John Mayer, but it’s not clear yet if the two are engaged or if Katy just found some jewelry she likes.
The couple was seen at Sunset Towers in Los Angeles on Friday with Katy sporting a ring on her left ring finger. After dinner, the couple hopped to the back room of Bootsy Bellows club in West Hollywood, a source told E! News.
The source said the two seemed very close throughout the night.
“They are really happy. They had the most amazing date night. They had a private booth at Bootsy Bellows and were very happy just to be together,” the source said. “They were taking pics of one another and are head over heels. After a while, they had some friends join them and they spent the rest of the night dancing. They left as the club was closing.”
But the source indicated that John Mayer hasn’t popped the question — at least not yet.
Though they keep a lot of details about their romantic life private, Katy Perry and John Mayer have been getting progressively closer in recent months. The duo were seen getting very affectionate at the Universal Music Grammys, for example.
They got even more intimate after the Super Bowl. After the game ended the couple spent quite a bit of time at the Spearmint Rhino, a strip club in Santa Barbara. Katy even received a few private dances, TMZ reported.
While the pair might not be officially engaged yet, Katy Perry could be headed down the aisle soon — if tradition holds up, that is. During the mass wedding ceremony that took place during the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performance at the Grammy’s, Katy caught the bouquet from one of the same-sex newlyweds.
