‘Titanfall’ Beta Release Date Hits: Sign Up By Valentine’s Day

The Titanfall beta release date is here, and it could give gamers a reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day, if they don’t already have one. However, not everybody who preordered the game will get in on the beta.

Preordering Titanfall won’t improve your chances, as it’s not a requirement for entering the beta. The only way to ensure you have a chance is to register by February 14 and hope you are selected. Preordering only guarantees you’ll have a copy soon after it’s released, providing there isn’t a shortage.

Electronic Arts is apparently trying their hardest to make Titanfall as good as possible before it’s released, even holding an open beta so the gamers themselves can test it and report issues which would otherwise pop up after the Titanfall release date and affect reviews. After the epic let-downs surrounding SimCity and Battlefield 4, EA has a reputation to fix before they lose the title of “worst company.”

Respawn’s Vince Zampella explained on Twitter about not everybody being able to join in following the Titanfall beta release date:

“We tried but just couldn’t do it. If it were up to me I would let most of you in (always a few bad apples). Sadly, we have restrictions that we couldn’t avoid.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, there will be three mechs released on the Titanfall release date, and probably more available with DLC at a later date. There are likely to be some tactics involving each one after gamers begin playing the beta and Titanfall gameplay information reaches personal blogs or YouTube. It’s likely that Electronic Arts won’t allow personal YouTube footage until the game is officially released to the public, so don’t expect anything aside from the trailer below.

Could EA’s latest shooter be the game that not only breaks their habit of releasing sub-par games, but also gives Grand Theft Auto 5 a run for its gamer dollar? The latest Call of Duty couldn’t do that, but aside from Armored Core, we haven’t really seen a lot of good mech warfare titles.

We should know soon enough after the highly anticipated Titanfall beta release date if the game will be worth our money.
