Yvette Jordan Gives Birth To Twin Girls, ‘Family Is Overjoyed’
Yvette Jordan has given birth to identical twin girls, making husband Michael even happier than he is with the performance of his NBA franchise.
Jordan’s spokeswoman, Estee Portney, gave the news to The Associated Press, adding that the girls were born on Sunday in West Palm Beach, Florida, and are to be named Victoria and Ysabel.
”Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival,” Portnoy said.
Back in November 2013, The Inquisitr revealed the news that Yvette was pregnant and that she knew then that she would have twins.
Yvette Prieto first met Jordan while dancing at a Miami nightclub in 2008. She lived with him from 2009, he proposed in 2011, and they were married two years later.
Michael Jordan is the owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, who are currently seeded eighth in the Eastern Conference. Commentators predict that they have a chance to make the postseason for the first time since he took over as majority owner in 2010.
Jordan, who will be 51 next Monday, married former model Yvette Prieto in April last year in Palm Beach, Fla. The reception took place at a private golf club in Jupiter, Fla. near to Michael Jordan’s home. The wedding was a Who’s Who of celebrities.
Yvette wore a custom-made dress which featured a cathedral train. It was created by J’Aton Couture and made of French silk voile, handmade silk lace and embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Of all the men Yvette Jordan dated, perhaps the best known was Julio Iglesias Jr., the older brother of Enrique Iglesias and the son of Julio Iglesias. In 2003, Iglesias told Hola! magazine that Prieto is “a fantastic girl” and a “loving, simple and very good person.”
Which means that Michael Jordan is a really lucky man!
Jordan’s first marriage to Juanita Vanoy lasted 17 years, and ended in divorce in 2006. Juanita received a $168 million settlement, making it the largest celebrity divorce settlement in history at the time on public record.
The marriage produced three children – two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
So, Yvette Jordan is now both a new mum, and a stepmother; at least Michael has experience in changing diapers!
