Justin Bieber ‘Outraged,’ May Sue Over Ex-Housekeeper ‘Zombie’ Drugs Claims
Justin Bieber is reportedly considering legal action against the former housekeeper who sold a “tell all” interview about her time in the singer’s employ to a British newspaper.
Speaking to the Sunday People tabloid last month, Tatiana Voziouk claimed, “The drugs and hangers-on are turning Justin into a zombie,” adding that she thought the teen star would die in unnatural circumstances like the late Michael Jackson.
The 47-year-old is believed to have been paid a five-figure sum for her story, which painted a grim picture of a pop star surrounded by drugs while unaware of his financial affairs or the opportunists in his circle. Voziouk says she began working for Bieber in August 2012 before she was allegedly unfairly dismissed a year later.
New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l reports Bieber is completely outraged by the former housekeeper’s breach of confidence, and has allegedly instructed his California attorney Howard Weitzman to explore grounds for a lawsuit.
“This woman embellished a number of things in an effort to profiteer from Justin,” a source told Confidenti@l.
“She is in breach of her non-disclosure agreement and has sold confidential information so there is a case against her.” the insider added.
Voziouk maintains she saw Bieber and his pals drink the codeine-promethazine-soda street narcotic known as sizzurp. She also claims she witnessed marijuana being delivered to the singer’s Calabasas, California, mansion by a legal drug company that provides their supplies based on medicinal requirements.
Voziouk’s Beverly Hills attorney, Laurence Ring, told Confidenti@l that his client is allegedly owed money by the teen star and isn’t worried about being sued.
“Tatiana is not fearful of any litigation because she was wrongfully terminated and she has claims against Justin Bieber including unpaid overtime and employment benefits,” he said.
Moving on, the New York outlet claims Bieber’s entourage now includes people connected to Minister Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam members. It’s claimed this new influx is attempting to help the 19-year-old bring balance to his life.
A source added, “Justin stayed at the Four Seasons downtown hotel while he was in Atlanta last week and was seen singing to a maid in the elevator. He also went to a local school and played hockey with a CNN executive’s son. Farrakhan’s disciples are showing Justin the light when others around him have led him on a path of destruction.”
Interestingly, Nation of Islam supporters served as part of Michael Jackson’s security detail during his 2005 trial on assorted charges of molesting a minor, intoxicating a minor in order to molest him, attempted child molestation, extortion and one count of conspiring to hold a boy and his family captive.
The late entertainer was found not guilty of all charges.
Meanwhile, Bieber’s lawyers are dealing with an array of legal challenges.
The teen star was arrested for suspected DUI on January 23 in Miami Beach while driving a rented yellow Lamborghini. Fellow arrestee and friend, R&B singer Khalil Sharieff, drove a red Ferrari. Police officers described them as engaged in an illegal street drag race.
Despite a negligible blood alcohol level after breath tests, a toxicology report revealed Justin had marijuana and Xanax in his system at the time of his arrest.
The Canadian has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under influence, resisting arrest without violence, and driving with an expired license, ahead of a February 14 arraignment he is not expected to attended. A March 3 trial date has been set.
Following last Thursday’s release of police CCTV of Bieber’s pat down and frisking while in custody at the Miami Beach police station, the singer’s Miami lawyers filed a motion the next day asking a Miami-Dade judge to prevent the disclosure of any further videos on the basis they reveal “various states of undress which show intimate, personal parts of the defendant’s body.”
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources within the Miami Beach police department told them Bieber is seen stumbling in his holding cell while he take various tests before allegedly eventually urinating into a urinal in his holding cell.
The news media is challenging the motion to seal, but as yet no hearing date has been set, Miami Herald notes.
Justin has also been charged with assault for allegedly attacking a Toronto limousine driver in December. He is due to appear in court regarding this matter on March 10. His lawyers have stated he is innocent of the charge.
In Los Angeles, a vandalism investigation based on a neighbor alleging Bieber egged his house last month is now being reviewed by the District Attorney after Sheriffs recommended a felony vandalism charge.
It’s still a little nebulous as to what the singer’s home security surveillance videos show, after they were seized in a subsequent police raid. But Lt. David Thompson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told Confidenti@l,
“I believe the video bolsters our case. It allows us to move forward with what we believed this was all along — a deliberate act directed against a known neighbor.”
The D.A’s decision on whether to press misdemeanor, felony vandalism charges, or dismiss the case against Bieber reportedly arrives this week.
