Jen Selter Says Having ‘Net’s Best Butt No Boost In Dating Department [Photos]
Jen Selter, in just over a month, has gone from social media star to genuine real media celebrity, and it’s largely thanks to her prominent derriere. But 20-year-old Jen Selter, a Roslyn, New York native, says that her none of her newfound notoriety has helped her on the dating scene.
On the other hand, it hasn’t hurt her in that department either.
“Fame is not affecting my dating life,” Jen Selter told Fox News in an interview. “I’m 20, playing the field and having a blast.”
The effect her newfound prominence has on other people is another story altogether. A January 2 story about Jen Selter in the New York Post turned into her big break. Not only did the publicity nearly double her following on Instagram, the Post piece was spotted by an agent at the Legacy Agency, which represents major sports figures. The agency inked Jen Selter to a contract in mid-January and within a couple of weeks, landed her a major endorsement deal.
Jen Selter is now an official spokesperson for CIRRUS, a manufacturer of fitness equipment.
“I think of Jen as a professional athlete, the No. 1 pick, her sport just happens to be fitness, and she found a way to make it happen,” explained the company’s CEO Jay Sapovits.

But Selter is not only focused on developing a sculpted hind quarters. She says her message is about overall fitness and motivation.
“I try to be fresh,” Jen Selter told Fox. “I’m aware of comments made about my body, but I get the most happiness when I receive emails or posts about people I’ve inspired.”
